Celebrating Our Communities

Our communities are stronger when we come together and take time to understand, support, and celebrate one another. Each title in Celebrating Our Communities focuses on how kids can practice inclusion, empathy, and acceptance in their daily lives. Key concepts of social and emotional learning (SEL) teach children to manage emotions, establish positive habits in communication, create and achieve goals, and make good decisions. “Try This!” and “Grow with Goals” activities in each title help readers actively reflect on the subject matter and set their own goals to promote a growth mindset and hone helpful SEL skills. Each title includes sidebars, a table of contents, glossary, index, and tips for educators and caregivers.
