Facing Life's Challenges

Life throws us many challenges, often without warning. Facing Life’s Challenges describes these specific life events or situations and the emotions they can elicit, as well as how we can cope with them mindfully and learn from them. Readers will learn to recognize, reflect on, and communicate their feelings, ask for help, and lend help to family members and friends who may also be experiencing these life challenges. “Try This!” and “Grow with Goals” activities in each title help readers actively reflect on the subject matter and set their own goals to promote a growth mindset and hone helpful social and emotional learning (SEL) skills. Each title includes sidebars, a table of contents, glossary, index, and tips for educators and caregivers.
